Back in college, we were taught in Philosophy of the Family (oh yeah, we have that class!) that “loving is knowing.” Fuck that shit. Love is loving despite of knowing. You don’t love “because”; you love “despite of”. As the cliché anti-cliché goes: “love isn’t blind, it sees, but doesn’t mind.” When you stop liking everything in a person yet still wants to stick it out with him, that’s love. Of course, that’s money, sex and baby aside.
